The group prepares Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1a collaborative album.

After the premiere of Talkie Talkie (2024), The Bitchos presents Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1his third album, which will arrive on November 13, 2026 through GREAT! Recordsin alliance with !K7 Music. As a preview, the group shared “Holding Cell”a song in collaboration with the Australian singer-songwriter TOmbrose Kenny-Smith.

The single joins “Hang Up (Pt. 2)” as one of the first promotional previews of the material that will consist of nine songs. “Holding Cell” stands out for being a track psychedelic rock where the voice of Kenny-Smith provides an energetic touch, resulting in an intense and enveloping proposal that is accompanied by a video co-directed by Kieron Banerji and Callum Baker.

At the beginning of 2025, the band decided to give their sound a twist by integrating, for the first time, various vocalists. Regarding this conceptual change, the bassist Josephine Jonsson He explained that adding guests felt like an organic step to renew the album’s proposal. For her part, the guitarist Serra Petale highlighted the excitement of mixing influences ranging from the cold Swedish winter to the muggy Australian summer, achieving a fusion that leads the group to a new creative universe.

The new material represents an important change for the lineup, since although the band has built its identity based on a mainly instrumental proposal, at the beginning of last year it chose to transform its sound by integrating various artists for the first time. Among them are Adrian Quesadaof Black Pumas; Sinkane; Kit Sebastianand Free Chichaa New York group with influences from Peruvian music.
