Mac DeMarco adds four albums to his streaming catalog

Music news

This multiple release comes after his album Guitar of 2025.

Acclaimed Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mac DeMarco has simultaneously presented four new studio albums. Although its formal exit to the main platforms of streaming digital is produced today, part of his audience already knew this material, since during his most recent tour the musician distributed physical copies on CD-R to some followers by hand.

These four album releases — Dog on the Rock, Seven Off the Two, Seaplane Dog and The View From Tian Tian—faithful to the artist’s distinctive seal, they preserve a sound aesthetic characterized by a spontaneous, organic and rudimentary style. They highlight themes whose nomenclatures use apparently random numerical sequences, reinforcing the experimental and free nature of the production.

Give them play next:

Remember that Mac DeMarco will return to Mexico with a special tour of six cities in the country. The tour will begin in Mexico City with a special show on November 6th now on Quarry Studios as part of Road to Hypnosis: Dreaminga night designed to celebrate the music that has accompanied an entire generation.
