THE BOOK
The narrative side instead moves towards a technological dystopia. Election Day 2067 is a science fiction novel with a cyberpunk atmosphere, set in a Rome transformed into a gigantic global amusement park, where physical reality merges with simulations generated by artificial intelligence.
In the world imagined by Repetto, politics is no longer a dispute between parties, but a spectacle dominated by icons built on the faces of history. Cleopatra, Julius Caesar and Tutankhamun become figures of the electoral competition, projected on the facades of the buildings and on the walls of Castel Sant’Angelo to gain the attention of the voters.
