Advice for your younger self.
The British indie quartet, Lime Garden, has announced the release of his second studio material, titled Maybe Not Tonight. The album, which will be publishedor April 10 by seal So Young Recordsis the successor of One More Thing (2024). Produced by Charlie Andrew (known for his work with alt-J), the new album will explore themes centered andn youth and relationships.
The album is about a night out, from start to finish. As the night goes on, you're having a great time, until your ex walks in with someone else. You hate the way you look, but instead of going home, you hit the red button and get even more drunk. In the end, you return home full of melancholy, chaos and anger,” explains singer Chloe Howard.
The new single, “23”is a fun song with references to the 2000s, the idea came from a dream where Chloe Howardfrustrated by her personality and lack of success, conversed with her youthful self. The song came to fruition on a rainy January afternoon, with an improvisation style Happy Mondays inspiring the bass line.
