PAOLA IEZZI releases “The Queens”, the song dedicated to the drag world

Music news

Is titled The Queens the new song by Paola Iezzi, a very personal and magnetic dedication by Paola Iezzi to the world of drag.

Present in the soundtrack of DRAG RACE ITALIA 3 on Paramount+, where Paola together with Paolo Camilli, Chiara Francini and Priscilla – also host of the program – make up the jury of the brand new season, The Queens is much more than a song: a sparkling anthem of empowerment , a dispassionate invitation to always shine, even when you are cornered, to come out into the open and courageously take your life into your own hands, wearing the best crown on your head: “we are the queens forever, and you know what? Love is love”.

I wrote “The Queens” to remind everyone that you can be a queen even when you are excluded. This song talks about courage, about showing yourself for what you are, overcoming every fear by putting on your own crown” – Paola Iezzi.

A song that comes from afar, written by Paola in Stockholm and produced together with the Swedish music producer Johannes Willinder: a 100% dance pop sound castle enriched with electropop nuances, the perfect opportunity to get on the dance floor and let yourself go in total freedom.

The Queens was presented yesterday in Milan on the occasion of the only Italian date of RuPaul’s Drag Race: Werq The World Tour 2023 (produced by Voss Events and Live Nation in collaboration with World of Wonder and MTV), where Paola Iezzi transformed the Mediolanum Forum in a real dancefloor, giving an iconic and more than ever glittery performance in the company of the Queen protagonists of DRAG RACE ITALIA 3
