A definitive goodbye.

Perry Farrell the singer of Jane's Addictionhas finally apologized, more than a year after the fight on stage with the guitarist Dave Navarro which ended up breaking up the band. Although the members have already made peace, they confirmed in a statement that Jane's Addiction remains dissolved.

The mess broke out on September 13, 2024, during a concert in Boston. Farrell he punched Navarrese and, while they were taking him away, the bassist Eric Avery He also released several. The lawsuit continued behind the scenes, forcing the cancellation of the tour and, eventually, the group's separation, which triggered legal lawsuits between Farrell and the others.

To everyone in Boston and around the world. I would like to talk about what happened on stage last year. I have reflected on it and I know that I did not behave as I should. I apologize to our attendees and my bandmates for losing my temper and interrupting the show. Jane's Addiction has been the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the attendees, and the impact we've had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I can write. My goal has always been to offer our audience the best show possible, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we didn't make it, and I am deeply sorry to everyone affected. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued love and support,” the statement reads.
