PETER GABRIEL and WHAM top the UK charts

Christmas arrives and WHAM appears with Last Christmas at the top of the UK singles chart. New number one also in the albums with the great return of PETER GABRIEL and his latest album “I/O”.

It’s Gabriel’s third official No. 1 solo album, and his first in 37 years. In the past he had reached the top of the UK chart with “Peter Gabriel 3” (1980) and “So” (1986).

The K-pop group debuts at number two in the English charts ATEEZ with “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL”.

Christmas is also arriving in the album charts with Michael Bublé who with “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and with CHER who enters the Top 10 with his Christmas album “Christmas”.


It’s all Christmas in the UK singles chart with the return to number one of WHAM with LAST CHRISTMAS before ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU by MARIAH CAREY.
