Rancore returns with a new chapter in his narrative and musical journey. The Roman rapper has announced the release of the new album “TAREK DA COLORARE”, available from Friday 3 April.
The story reaches a breaking point. In that cosmos made of visions, news from the future and characters suspended between reality and imagination, the rapper has pushed the story further and further away from the boundaries of reality. But too much time has passed between one dimension and another, he loses orientation in the Xenoverse and is forced to interrupt his continuous passage between worlds. The choice is one, drastic and necessary to reinsert him into reality: amnesia.
I wanted to change my name and get rid of this resentment, but I realized that there is no better name at this moment.
It is the perfect tool for political propaganda to plan and move the masses”, says Rancore.
The world is dividing into smaller and smaller parts, until we are left alone in our resentment. Everyone chooses their own color in a war that puts our souls to sleep. Are we still capable of mixing, of getting dirty with other people's colors to wake each other up?”
It is from this fracture that the new chapter is born. Deprived of the memories of that universe, Tarek finds himself having to rebuild his way of being in the world from scratch and rediscover himself. Even language seems to break down: invented words, sounds that recall a language, but which one? As for those who come into the world for the first time, communicating is something that will have to be learned.
From this starting point, “TAREK DA COLORARE” takes shape, a project that arises precisely from that reset: a return to reality that also becomes a new creative space, an open page in which identity, imagination and language can be rewritten.
