Marco Masini – PERFETTO IMPERFETTO – album 2026
A year and a half later 10 Loves, Marco Masini releases his thirteenth album Perfetto Imperfetto in which he seems to once again come to terms with his past and somehow forgive it, marking a turning point.
The past is something that somehow always gets brought up in Masini's career, as if it were still that elephant in the room. However, the past that Marco faces is a past that has the flavor of a farewell, a personal change – at least it seems like it for those who write about it. Perfect, Imperfect and in And life happens above all things. There's room for ballads too Moreover certainly as a frontrunner, in which we find the Masini we know.
Marco doesn't forget to throw in some small references to a more distant past here and there “I am the one you avoid” in Gotham City: An airy, somewhat sweet song with references also to Pablo Escobar, Joker. Sadly funny.
And then I saw you fall retraces that trend with words that repeat one another, with a less intense interpretation although Masini's scratch remains well imprinted.
The change of pace coincides with My opposite sideit is certainly the song that we can say is outside Masini's comfort zone with electronic sounds in the background. An evolution that is also recalled in Lolita how are you? (feat. Ciao sono Vale) which resumes the discussion already embraced last year with Fedez in Nice bitch, present on the album and reproduced with Necessary Evilcompeting at the festival this year in which Marco's voice is at the forefront. Same line goes for Ice whitecertainly more in the vein of a classical repertoire as well Imperfect, albeit with a very airy arrangement in which Masini's voice rests on soft guitars.
At the end of listening, we can certainly say that this has the flavor of a farewell, a legacy to the loved one, a testament in music that expresses all the nostalgia of a finished relationship, made up of useless times, loss, the end of certainties (When you come back to me). This is the main plot beyond the digressions engraved along the way.
