Rolling Stones: Canceled the tour in the UK and Europe?

The Rolling Stones would have decided to cancel the plans for a tour in the United Kingdom and in Europe in 2025 including a possible Italian date at the Olimpico in Rome.

According to what reported by several newspapers, including The Timesthe historic band would have given up on a series of concerts scheduled for next year due to complications related to venues and travel.

Among the discarded stages were cities such as Paris, Barcelona and Rome, as well as four dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The failure to agreement with the London stadium would have been one of the decisive factors in the decision to cancel the tour.

The wait for a new tour was high, especially after the success of Hackney diamondstheir 24th studio album published in 2023, which saw the participation of artists such as Lady Gaga, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.

The band had already brought the album on tour to the United States in 2024, selling 880,000 tickets for 20 concerts and generating around 235 million dollars, ranking sixth among the most profitable tours of the year.
