Samuraï gives us his sensitivity with 'In The Mirrors', a ballad on acoustic guitar

Music news

Few artists have the sensitivity that Samurai has. Although we know that Aroa Lorente likes rock and punk, how grateful we are when she opens up to give us a song that goes straight to our guts. And with In The Mirrorsis precisely what is achieved.

The artist from Madrid has just launched the third preview of what will be their debut album, The Silence Of The Noise, which will arrive at the end of the year and will be accompanied by a national tour. After the rockers In Case I'm Not Here Tomorrow and Burnt Heart, Samuraï dares with an intimate, deep acoustic guitar ballad with a heartbreaking sensitivity. “It's not what people expect. It can be interpreted as a romantic song, but the reason why I wrote it is another.”the singer admitted to WECB.

Preparing his first album and Combining the road, the stage and the studio, Samuraï never stops. And it is normal that even she feels a bit of catharsis at times. “I feel very good. I have a bit of controversy because I am just going to play at a concert, and we are going to premiere it. So it is like The energy of the song is very calm and right now I'm going to rock. There is a bit of contradiction in my body right now,” Samuraï told us, before introduce In The Mirrors in his performance in Albacete.

And it is noticeable that it is a very personal topic. We can see the Samurai of Forbidden Word, and anyone would think that a more introspective song would be harder to write. But for Samuraï, it's the opposite.I think all songs start with a guitar voice. And there are times when I prefer to decorate them a little more and other times when I prefer to leave them bare, as is the case,” she confesses.

Besides, In The Mirrors It is accompanied by a music video starring the artist, where she shows us a little bit of their post-concert routine. “That's what I wanted to show. It's a very vulnerable moment when you go from being in front of thousands of people to arriving at the hotel room and you're alone. The only person who accompanies you is you, and you are the reflection in the mirror. That's why I wanted to show a little bit of that image and that moment,” the singer explained.
