Sfera Ebbasta’s move at San Siro was brilliant
By now it’s clear that Sfera is in promo mode for the new album. He moved as expected: archiving the posts on his Instagram profile and changing his profile image to a red background. Fans speculate that the new project could be a sort of sequel to Sfera Ebbasta, released on September 9, 2016, a bit like what happened with X2VR. But Sfera, as we know, speaks little, he hasn’t spoken to journalists for years, he doesn’t organize press conferences for his record releases and at the few there have been (I remember the one on the occasion of the release of the documentary Famoso) he doesn’t even show up. He is not someone who talks to you about his private life, and on social media he shows everything that is inherent and functional to his image and his imagination.
Yet since Sunday everyone has been talking about him. He was invited to the San Siro for Inter Napoli, they gave him a t-shirt with the number 92 and his name full of asterisks, where only the dollar sign appears, which makes you think of the hypothetical title of the new album.
He shows up at the stadium as Battisti (Lucio) with 10 girls. And everyone talks about it. Are the 10 girls there for some sort of promotion of Sfera’s new project or for “revenge” against his ex, who is dating an Inter player? When in doubt, he killed two birds with one stone. Everyone talks about it, he stays silent and the hype around the album’s release grows.
