Sorry joins us on his journey with “Jetplane”

Music news

A dose of black humor, visual distortion and hallucinated sounds.

With a sharp dose of black humor and distorted aesthetics, Sorry returns to the radar with his new single “Jetplane”. On this release, the London group immerses itself in tension-filled minimalism, where a vibrant bass line sustains the rhythm while the accelerated voice of Asha Lorenz ironically narrates a turbulent and dark journey.

The track feels like an elegant bad trip, thanks in part to the ghostly intervention of a vocal sample from “Hot Freaks” of Guided By Voiceswhich runs through the production like an auditory hallucination. “Jetplane” not only confirms the ability of Sorry to reinvent themselves in their own sound universe, but also to create discomfort with style.

The release is accompanied by an equally disconcerting video, directed by FLASHA Productions. Here, bodies are deformed, faces multiply, and grotesque cameos sneak in that function as a critical nod to the worst of contemporary digital culture.

With surreal images and an atmosphere of growing restlessness, the video reinforces the feeling of being trapped in a reality where nothing is what it seems, here you can enjoy the video and don't forget to listen “Jetplane” of Sorry on the platform streaming that you like the most.

“Jetplane” is a reminder that Sorry He is not afraid of the strange or the uncomfortable. Rather, he embraces it and turns it into provocative, playful and deeply current art.
