Stereolab announces his first album in 15 years

Music news

A new stage begins.

Stereolab is back with “Aerial Troubles”a new song that becomes the first advance of his new album that marks his return to the studio after 15 years of absence. Instant Holograms on Metal Film will officially arrive on May 23 through Duophonic UHF Diss / Warp and will have 13 themes that will show their unique mix of Krautrock and retrofuturist pop with a touch of electronics.

The single comes accompanied by a video directed by Laurent Askienazy in which the experimental spirit that has defined the band is recovered: hypnotic synthesizers, floating melodies and an enveloping production that seems extracted from the future and the past at the same time.

To celebrate this new stage, Stereolab announced a Tour World Cup in which it includes Mexico City with a couple of presentations: November 12 and 13 in the Indie Rocks forum!. ANDThis will be a unique opportunity to listen to both their new material and classics that have marked generations.
