Suede premieres “Emotionally Unavailable” and announces reissue

The band shared one of the unreleased songs that will be part of Antidepressants: Expanded.

suede continues to expand the universe of Antidepressantsmaterial released in September 2025 under BMG Rights Management. The group of britpop prepares the launch of Antidepressants: Expandedalbum arriving on July 10, 2026 via BMG. As a preview of this production, the band presented the single “Emotionally Unavailable”first preview of the reissue.

“Emotionally Unavailable” is one of the extra songs that is added to this new version of the album, which maintains the emotional intensity and dark tone that characterized Antidepressantswork in which suede explored themes related to human disconnection, anxiety and worries linked to modern life. Likewise, the song is accompanied by a video that presents a somber and melancholic aesthetic, a hallmark of the group.

With Antidepressants: Expanded, suede will offer a deeper look at the creative process behind the material released in 2025. In addition to the original album, this edition will be made up of three discs. The second will include five additional songs, starting with “Emotionally Unavailable”followed by topics such as “Overload”, “Sharpening Knives”, “Dirty Looks” and “Medication”; while the third will present the demo versions of each of the 11 songs that make up the standard edition of the album.

With this launch, Brett Anderson, Matt Osman, Simon Gilbert Richard Oakes and Neil Codling They reaffirm their validity after more than three decades of experience, demonstrating that there are still different ways to reinvent themselves without losing the essence that distinguishes them.
