Written in Water brings together various influences ranging from the work of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwishpassing through arrangements with jazz overtones, to elements of traditional Mexican music, such as the figure of Tunuwame and the funeral music of the Sierra Mixe of Oaxaca. Much of this result comes from the recording process, where the band, through an improvised studio in Santa María la Ribera, experimented with different sounds, which allowed them to shape a more organic material.

As to “Hiriku”the topic is presented as a track hypnotic inspired poem Hikuri of José Vicente Anaya. The piece reflects on the unfolding of the being and the ability to inhabit various emotional planes simultaneously; In addition, it comes accompanied by a music video directed by the band members themselves.
