The Alchemist premieres “Lord Protect Me” with Roc Marciano

A powerful collaboration.

The influential hip hop producer The Alchemist (Daniel Alan Maman), known since his time in The Whooliganz with Scott Caanremains active and relevant. Recently, it consolidated its partnership with Armand Hammer (billy woods and Elucid) in album Mercytheir second collaboration.

Now, The Alchemist announces his new solo project, The Good Book 3continuing his 2020 instrumental series. As a teaser, he released the single “Lord Protect Me” together with his frequent collaborator Roc Marciano. Their work together is prolific, including the acclaimed albums The Elephant Man's Bones (2022) and The Skeleton Key (2024).

“Lord Protect Me” was co-produced with Budgie and introduces Roc Marciano exploring personal issues about a beat complex and The Good Book 3 promises to continue the focus of the previous volumes in beats dense and atmospheric instrumentals.
