Josh Tillmanbetter known by his alter ego Father John Mistyshares his new single, “The Old Law”. This track is not totally unknown to the most staunch followers of the American singer-songwriter. The song made its live debut during the 2024 tour, where it quickly became a setlist highlight. For months, it was provisionally referred to by fans and himself. Tillman as “God's Trash”a title that directly alludes to one of the most powerful lines of the chorus. Its recording and official release have been received with enthusiasm by those who had already embraced it in its live acoustic format.

The studio version, co-produced by Tillman and the talented Drew Ericksoncaptures the essence of live performance while wrapping it in rich, nuanced production. Dale play here:
