The Weeknd is the first protagonist of Fortnite Festival

Fortnite has released the trailer for Festival, a new music-based experience within the game, starring the Weeknd.

Developed by Rock Band’s Harmonix studio, Festival is a new Fortnite Battle Royale game that lets players play notes in time with a song while watching an artist on screen. Players have the option to perform in a band with their friends or play alone on stage and enjoy different gaming experiences such as Rocket Racing, Lego Fortnite and the aforementioned Fortnite Festival.

A few days after Eminem’s virtual performance during the Big Bang event, Fortnite announces The Weeknd, who is the first artist to take the stage at Fortnite Festival.

The World Premiere of The Weeknd’s interactive concert trailer was broadcast on YouTube starting at 03:00 Italian time on Tuesday 5 December.
