The White House used a song by The Notorious BIG to announce Manduro's capture

In the early hours of January 3, the US military carried out a raid in Caracas, Venezuela, and captured the nation's president, Nicolás Maduro, and his wife, Cilia Flores.

The White House celebrated the coup's success with a video clip posted on social media. In the video we see Maduro enraged followed by Trump walking down a corridor smiling, but what is striking is the choice of soundtrack: a 1997 Biggie song, “Hypnotize”.

The post is accompanied by the caption: “If you don't know, now you know.”
