On this occasion, the French artist presents a work originally conceived as the soundtrack for a ballet of the same name, designed to accompany 16 dancers and developed in collaboration with the choreographer Damien Jalet and the visual artist Kohei Nawa.
As a first preview, Bangalter released “Mirage: part. II”a piece of almost 10 minutes built from sound layers and subtle percussions that gradually transform. The album is composed of eight pieces and takes inspiration from experimental approaches to composition, returning to the composer's influences.
