  • Tickets for Hombres G concerts on their 2026 tour: what time they go on sale, where to buy them and prices

It's no secret that Music, and specifically concerts, has become one of the most popular leisure activities.. In recent years, the public has returned strongly to theaters and venues, with such voracious demand that today the live format is at its best.

This trend not only continues, but aims to continue for at least several more years. The most representative example is found in the Movistar Arena, the most popular venue in Madrid and one of the favorite spaces for artists and groups from both the national scene and the international industry.

The boom of the Movistar Arena

The capital's old Sports Palace has hosted numerous concerts this year, including those by stars such as Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Quevedo and Dani Martín. But this high demand seems to increase in the coming months, judging by the latest movements of some bands that already have several dates booked for 2027.

As of November 26, 2025, the Movistar Arena has eight events confirmed for that year, including the concerts of Carolina Durante (January 8), Sidecars (January 29), Sergio Dalma (February 21) and Siloéwhich has posted the sold out sign for March 12 and 13. This agenda shows that the fever for concerts is not only maintained, but is replicated in other venues in the country, such as the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

What is happening

According to the analysis published by the SGAE Foundation in its annual yearbook, music has registered historic growth with 32.3% more concerts than before the pandemic, 20.6% more attendees and 77.1% more collection than in 2019.

In 2024 alone, 120,510 concerts were held in Spain – the highest number since 2011 -, attended by some 25.9 million people, which is almost 19% more than in 2023 and 32% more than in 2019. These data reinforce what is already observed in venues such as the Movistar Arena now and in the coming years.

The pace of new tours, the avalanche of dates announced months – and even years – in advance and the rapid sales of tickets point to a structural trend: Spain is consolidating itself as one of the most active live music markets in Europewith forecasts for continued growth and an agenda that, if it continues like this, will surpass all historical records in the coming years.
