After the Auditions, X FACTOR 2026 enters the second phase of the selections. The Bootcamps debut on Thursday 1 October, further narrowing the number of artists still competing and bringing the formation of the teams for the Live Shows closer.

Francesco Gabbani, Irama, Jake La Furia and Paola Iezzi sit together at the jury table. The competitors who passed the Auditions return before the judges for a new performance, with the aim of gaining access to the Last Call.

THE MECHANISM

The verdict passes through four cards. Each judge can show a green card to promote the artist or a red card to stop the artist’s progress. Unanimity is required to pass the Bootcamp. In case of different judgments, the judges will discuss each other with microphones turned on. If at the end of the discussion there is even just one red card left, the artist will be eliminated.

Changing the fate of the selection are the X Passes. Each judge will have one available and will be able to use it to take an artist initially rejected by the jury directly to the next phase or to include him in his own team.

Following the aspiring competitors behind the scenes of the Allianz Cloud will be Giorgia, who will accompany the artists until the moment of the performance.

Whoever passes this phase will access the Last Call, the last step before the Live shows. Here the four judges will work separately on their teams through the three-chair mechanism: the switches between the artists will lead to the definition of the competitors who will go on stage for the Live Shows, scheduled from Thursday 22 October.
