Lucio Corsi will come out with Christmas nightthe new single out tomorrow, Thursday 20 November.
Written by Lucio Corsi and Tommaso Ottomano, “Christmas Night” describes the most intimate and melancholic dimension of the Christmas holidays, reflecting on the passing of time, the need for closeness and the loneliness which, often on these occasions, becomes more present. With poetic and cinematic writing that has always distinguished him, Lucio warms souls with verses of rebirth, told through the small gestures of the people around us.
Lucio says
It is a story (perhaps about love) set in the cold wind of December, in that sad air that I like, typical of the Christmas period.
In the song they starred a moon, a star, a cat, a dog, the cold wind in the pub car park, a scarf cloud, a mother, a father and time which is nothing more than a train lost in his thoughts.
I wrote it in October with Tommaso Ottomano, me on piano and him on bass. The hitchhiking moon on the cover is a drawing by Giulio Melani.»
The song arrives a few days after the publication of “The Guitar in the Rock – Lucio Corsi live at the Abbey of San Galgano”, the live album released last November 14th which follows the release of the concert film of the same name, premiered at the 20th edition of the Rome Film Festival and available in streaming on Rai Play from November 22nd.
THE TOUR
The Roman presentation is part of a year of great goals for Corsi: after a summer tour of 28 dates and over 100 thousand appearances, the singer-songwriter announces two new challenges for 2026, produced by Magellano Concerti: the European Tour 2026 in the clubs of the main cities of the continent (from 24 January) and the debut in Italian sports halls (from November, with stops in Florence, Rome and Milan).
