An album without a release date, destined to take shape week after week.
With “Silenzio Assordante”, his first official album, Latrelle chooses to escape the usual logic of record publishing to transform the release into an open process.
The project will not arrive on the platforms in a single moment: new elements will be revealed progressively, with methods and times communicated from time to time through the artist’s channels.
“Deafening Silence” does not have a release date. He’s out every week.”
the formula summarizes a strategy that shifts attention from the day of launch to the continuity of listening. The album thus takes on an episodic structure, entrusting the succession of releases with the task of building a story and keeping the dialogue open with its community.
“Deafening Silence” is first of all an oxymoron: the meeting of two words, of two ideas which in their meaning seem unable to go together. From their union comes the tension that runs through the entire album: each track on the album will contain an oxymoron, a contradiction capable of holding two extremes together. It is in the space between these opposites that Latrelle builds his own language, a music that can be fragile and powerful, suspended and violent, intimate and noisy.
Several references to the world of heaven return within the album. An imagery already present in Latrelle’s previous covers, populated with celestial vaults, stars and stars. This is why Latrelle’s music is ethereal, like a cloud that continually changes shape: sometimes grey, sometimes full of lightning, other times crossed by light.
THE LAUNCH
On October 29th, at the Teatro Arsenale in Milan, fans will have the opportunity to create and design the artwork that will accompany the album. Access to the experience will be possible exclusively through the purchase of the “Rumore” gatefold ghost vinyl, while seats last.
The choice of location also follows the artistic direction of the project. The Arsenale Theatre, a former church now transformed into an art space, becomes the perfect place to tell the tension between concentration and noise, spirituality and matter, silence and chaos.
The experience was born with a specific objective: to shorten the distance between artist and audience. Fans will not just be spectators or listeners, but will physically enter the world of “Deafening Silence”, helping to build its visual identity.
ABOUT
Latrelle, stage name of Umberto Rattini, was born in Milan on 24 October 2002 and grew up between Milan, Pavia, Genoa and Asti. He started recording at 13 and released his first song at 14. After discovering rap, he found in writing a way to express what he couldn’t tell anyone. In 2020 he met the producer N’, with whom he built an artistic partnership that is still central to his path today. Between 2024 and 2025 he released three EPs, Ante Meridiem, Stanza di Vetro and Precipitazioni, which define his stylistic signature between nostalgia, restlessness and the constant sensation of falling. The path led him to join K100 Ent, up to the first official album, Silenzio Assordante. On April 15, 2025, Night Skinny selected him for Players Club ’25. He collaborates with 18K in Buttare, Buttare, a song which has over 12 million plays, and +Forte, as well as signing Tempo with Nerissima and Promessa and Stare Bene with Joshua. In 2026 Tedua involved him in two songs by Ryan Ted, making him the only artist present twice on the album, and then choosing him as the first guest of his first live at San Siro. Writing is the heart of his identity: Latrelle builds the pieces in his mind, bar after bar, working for a long time on the joints and transforming instinct into method. His music comes from a desire to make the listener feel that, whatever they are feeling, they are not alone, they are not strange and they are not the problem.
