The fight against farmed salmon

It only took the voice of a little bird for Björk to dazzle the public in Berghainwhich was the first preview of LUXRosalía's fourth studio album. By then, some had already forgotten that the Icelandic and the Catalan had shared a studio 2 years earlier as part of the recording of Oralwhose profits were donated to support the legal fight against foreign-owned salmon farming in Iceland.

“Farmed salmon go through immense suffering and cause serious damage to our planet. This is an extraordinarily cruel way to make food.“, noted Björk when the song was released. Now, the artist has shared a publication through social networks in which she thanks the continued support and provides information on four specific cases: “Today we celebrate the second anniversary of the release of “oral” with @rosalia.vt. I would like to thank you personally for this generous gesture.…you are everything…thank you!!!”

Furthermore, the artist has not hesitated to emphasize the importance of donations: “Thanks to your generosity, we can continue with more cases that, hopefully, will help with marine and water protection on a larger scale as we meet the 30 by 30 goal (to protect at least 30% of land and sea by 2030)”, he noted.

Björk has always been an artist aware of the environmental fight; This has been reflected on numerous occasions. Furthermore, he has not hesitated to praise the behavior of Generation Z in this sense: “They are really radical, and I am relieved that the environment is a priority for themI'm ready for it! When you read the news, most of it won't matter in 20 years. The only thing that really matters is how we treat the environment,” he said.

Björk also seems to have plenty of emotion, or at least she showed it by showing her joy at participating in Berghain, one of the most groundbreaking songs on Llobregat's new album.
