Here's where Eurovision winners Måneskin are today — with a behind-the-scenes look at Thomas Raggi's debut album.
After winning the Eurovision contest, the Italian group Måneskin became the most successful rock band in the world. They have sold out arenas and stadiums across the globe and earned a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Their first album following their Eurovision victory, Rush! (2023), also rose to the top of the world charts.
Since the end of the world tour Rush! in the summer of 2024 with a series of festival dates, the group put the brakes on its global domination to pursue solo projects. They are still together, just on an “official break” for the moment, time to try new sounds, release albums and tour separately. Here's what members of Måneskin these days.
Damiano David
The leader of the group has started to unveil his first album Funny Little Fears in 2024 with the piano ballad “Silverlines”. He released the full album last May, showcasing a more suave pop sound than his band was known for.
This fall, he enriched Funny Little Fears new songs, including “Talk to Me” featuring Tyla And Nile Rodgers. He also embarked on a world tour which will end this December in the United States.
Outside of music, he has been busy on the arm of a superstar girlfriend. Since the beginning of 2024, he has been in a relationship with the actress and pop singer Dove Cameron. It recently inspired her single “Whatever You Like”.
Victoria DeAngelis
The bassist of Måneskin launched his solo career early, appearing on the cover of “Psycho Killer” of the Talking Heads by Duran Duran in 2023. In 2024, she began traveling the world as a DJ, exploring more electronic music than the glam rock she made with her band. Her first single was a collaboration with Brazilian star Anitta titled “Get Up Bitch!” Shake Ya Ass »released in 2024.
Over the past year, she has released a series of singles, some in collaboration with other LGBTQ+ artists like Pablo Vittar, Tommy Genesis And Ashnikko. She also released a few remixes, including an unofficial one of “Guess” of Charli And Billie Eilish.
Raggi has yet to announce a tour in support of the album, but he played a pre-release show in Los Angeles at the Whiskey. Morello declared that Raggi “carried the torch of rock’n’roll for a new generation”.
Ethan Torchio
The group's drummer has, for the moment, withdrawn from the spotlight since the announcement of the group's hiatus. Since composing the music for a 2024 mental health documentary called Ogni Pensiero Vola, Torchio kept a low profile. In June, however, he shared some footage of himself in the studio with friends.
