Lil Tjay called Offset a snitch

Offset was shot in a casino parking lot in Hollywood on Monday (April 6) and is now in hospital in stable condition. Lil Tjay was subsequently arrested near the location of the shooting on suspicion of being involved in a fight. The Bronx rapper was later released on bail and, in an interview with NBC 6 South Florida, he called Offset a snitch, who accused him of shooting him.

Lil Tjay denies any involvement in the shooting in which Offset was injured

Tjay also stated that he didn't get into any fights, and when asked if he shot Offset, he responded, “Did I shoot Offset? This is crazy.”

He was also asked if Offset owed him money and Lil Tjay cut it short by replying to ask him directly.

The rivalry between Offset and Tjay dates back to a January 2025 Twitch live, during which Tjay accused the former Migos member of being broke and claimed that he saw Offset frantically asking strangers for money via Cash App at a casino after a string of losses. Tjay claimed to have lent Offset $10,000 to cover his gambling losses, but it was never paid back. Offset responded by challenging Tjay to a live stream fight, saying, “I’m coming to get you.”

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and no charges have been laid in connection with the incident at this time.
