Gucci brings Gucci drinks vending machines to Milan Design Week
On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Gucci installed vending machines in the city that serve Gucci-branded soda with incredible names such as Fashion Icon, Drama Queen, Super Incazzata and Megan Pesantone.
After getting a drink from the vending machine, you can enjoy it inside a historic rose garden located in one of the oldest monasteries in Italy, the Cloisters of San Simpliciano.
The same location hosts Gucci Memoria, a symbolic reinterpretation of the 105 years of history of the brand curated by Demna.
It is a project that works on inheritance as a living, traversable and transformable material.
The installation develops as an immersive journey in which past and present, together with the respective ghosts of those who contributed to fixing and making Gucci sediment in the collective memory, constantly dialogue. Archive elements, iconographic references and contemporary design interventions intertwine to build an almost dreamlike narrative. It's not just about observing, but about physically and symbolically crossing the memory of Gucci.
