He Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled its prestigious class of inductees for the year 2026, presenting a fascinating mix of genres, eras and musical legacies. The list of artists being honored this year includes alternative rock titans, hip hop legends, pop-rock icons and metal mainstays.
The class of 2026 is headlined by names who have left an indelible mark on contemporary music: Oasis, Phil Collins, Wu-Tang Clan, Joy Division/New Order, Sade, Iron Maiden, Billy Idol and Luther Vandross.
The induction ceremony is scheduled forNovember 14th in the city of Los Angeles and you will be able to follow the event through a special broadcast that will be broadcast on ABC and will be available for streaming in Disney+ in the month of December.
This class follows the class of 2025, which included big names such as Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, Salt-N-Pepa and The White Stripes. As for the absences, it's notable that first-time eligible groups that didn't even get nominated this year include The Strokes and Yeah Yeah Yeahsproving that eligibility does not guarantee an immediate nomination. The 2026 induction promises to be one of the most diverse and exciting in the recent history of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
