DRAKE breaks records in the US album chart: the first three positions

Music news

Drake enters the history of the American charts. With “Iceman“,”Habibti“ And “Maid of Honour“released simultaneously on May 15, the Canadian rapper became the first artist to occupy the top three positions of the Billboard 200 at the same time since the chart has been published on a regular basis since 1956.

The record, as the American site writes Pitchfork, also comes for a historical detail: in 2009 Michael Jackson he could have achieved the same result after his death, but a rule in force at the time excluded albums released more than 18 months ago from the chart. A non-random reference, considering that Drake appears on the cover of Iceman wearing Jackson's famous glove.

Iceman, Habibti And Maid of Honour they also represent Drake's first solo albums after that For All the Dogs of 2023. In 2025 he published the collaborative project $ome $exy $ongs 4 U together with PartyNextDoor.
