The single marks the beginning of a new musical stage for Cornelius.

Japanese producer and musician Cornelius is back with Refractionshis next studio album that will arrive on August 19 under the label Eat Your Own Ears. As a first glance, Keigo Oyamada presented “Aeons”a song made in collaboration with Sean Ono Lennon.

Faithful to the avant-garde and perfectionist style of Cornelius, “Aeons” It is built on an atmosphere guided by a rhythm of soft guitars and a minimalist production, accompanied by the voice of Seanwho brings a delicate tone to the song. The theme seeks to explore continuity, transformation and the multiple states that coexist within an uninterrupted sound flow.

The collaboration between both musicians is not strange if we take into account the creative relationship they have built for several years. Lennon previously invited Cornelius to participate in different stages of the project Plastic Ono Bandin addition to sharing interests linked to sound experimentation, psychedelic pop and unconventional electronic structures.

This new single works as a preview of Refractionsan installment that promises to expand the limits of experimental pop and Shibuya-kei. The album will feature the participation of figures from the international scene such as Shintaro Sakamoto, Arto Lindsay and The Monochrome Set Bid.
