Tom Morello premieres “ADJOURN IT” with Serj Tankian and Roman Morello

Music news

A call to resist the rising tide of fascism.

The new single from Tom Morello, “ADJOURN IT”is now available through the label Mom + Pop as a preview of his next album production. This piece, which has the collaboration of Serj Tankian and Roman Morello —son of the guitarist, 15 years old—, is a direct invitation to combat the advance of fascism. The creation of the theme was a joint effort between Tom, Serj, Zakk Cervini and Romanunder the production of Cervini (known for his work with Yungblud and Bring Me The Horizon).

The video takes fragments of the independent film SALT OF THE EARTH (1954) to reinforce his message against injustice and prejudice. The film recounts the real resistance of Mexican-American miners to exploitation and racial discrimination. Created by censored directors and starring real miners, the work maintains its political relevance decades later. By integrating this legacy, the song highlights solidarity as a way to overcome fear and social division.
