DIS-LE is the new single by Belgian singer-songwriter and popstar Angèle.
“DIS-LE” is a hymn to instinct and the freedom to express oneself which, built around a hypnotic electronic groove and the recurring mantra of “say it”, blends emotional intensity and pop immediacy, marking a new chapter in Angèle's sonic evolution. Produced by Angèle together with her long-time collaborator Tristan Salvati, and recorded between Brussels, New York and the south of France, “DIS-LE” is characterized by electronic sounds and a chorus with a strong evocative impact, which celebrates the liberating power of personal expression, through words, movement or the simple act of showing oneself for who one is.
On the song, Angèle declares:
”DIS-LE” is an invitation to give voice to our deepest thoughts, to express what we normally keep to ourselves. The song encourages us to break the silence, to free ourselves from our restraints and to courageously affirm our individual identity.”

The release of the song is accompanied by an ambitious and visually impactful music video, directed by the Parisian creative duo Suzie & Léo, whose work moves between cinema, fashion and contemporary art through collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Nike, Fendi and artists such as Yung Lean.
Made in collaboration with the international choreographic collective (LA)HORDE, the video expands and translates into images the central themes of the song through the language of the body, movement and collective energy, fully reflecting Angèle's new creative chapter, founded on a continuous dialogue between image and perception, control and freedom, light and darkness. If the day embodies structure, rules and expectations, the night transforms into a space of instinct, movement and possibility.
Suspended between day and night, reality and imagination, the story of the video follows the stories of different characters who share a profound desire for freedom, self-determination and self-expression, transforming the video into a visual celebration of individual and collective emancipation. Furthermore, the video brings together members of the queer and rave communities, as well as figures linked to the hardstyle scene, many of whom have been collaborating with (LA)HORDE for over a decade through their choreographic and artistic research.
At the center of the video is rave culture: not simply as a setting, but as a space for meeting and connection, where identities intertwine, boundaries dissolve and collective experience takes over. Inspired by (LA)HORDE's ongoing investigation into nocturnal cultures and forms of collective expression that come to life on the dance floor: the video also reflects on rave as a place of resistance, an environment capable of escaping standardization and any form of control. In a historical moment in which nightlife culture is increasingly under pressure in many parts of the world, the dancefloor emerges as a space of collective liberation, transformation and possibility: a place where no pre-established structure can resist the force of people moving together. As the collective (LA)HORDE states:
It is a contemporary ritual of radical liberation and pleasure, the rave simultaneously embodies catharsis and epiphany, through dance.”
Recognized internationally for their work with the LUX campaign by Rosalía, Madonna and Sam Smith, and at the helm of the Ballet National de Marseille since 2019, the (LA)HORDE collective with this new music video continues its path of research and creative collaboration with Angèle, after having also taken care of the creative direction of “What You Want”, the song created in collaboration with Justice.
