Proof of this is Sending Hearts to All My Dearies – A Tribute to The Smashing Pumpkinsa compilation album that brought together various artists to reinterpret some of the most emblematic songs of The Smashing Pumpkinsbeing the participation of Tame Impala the first to be presented.
On this occasion, Kevin Parker joins a project that pays tribute to one of the most influential bands of the 90s alternative rock scene with its own version of “Hummer”topic included in Siamese Dream (1993). This release becomes the first single from the compilation and is a more psychedelic and ethereal reinterpretation that is reminiscent of the characteristic sound of Tame Impala.
