Olivia Rodrigo holds firm at the top of the UK album charts. “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love” confirms itself at number one on the Official Albums Chart for the second consecutive week, after last week recording the best debut of the American singer-songwriter's career.

A debut worth remembering instead Myles Smith: the singer-songwriter originally from Luton enters directly into second place with” My Mess, My Heart, My Life”.scoring the biggest debut week of 2026 for a UK debut album.

SINGLES

The race doesn't stop Sam Fender and Olivia Dean in the UK singles chart. Rein Me In in fact, it returns to number one on the Official Singles Chart, achieving its fourteenth non-consecutive week at the top.

The song, which rose three positions to the top of the chart, thus reaches two authentic classics of pop music such as Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran, both stuck at number one for 14 weeks. A result that allows Rein Me In to become the longest-running number one single in the 1920s, surpassing the record set by Ordinary by Alex Warren.

If the duet were to confirm itself at the top next week, it would also equal Love Is All Around by Wet Wet Wet, the British single with the most weeks spent at number one in the history of the Official Singles Chart.

VINYLS

The new work of Myles Smith simultaneously reaching the top of the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and the Official Record Store Chart.
