Four years after the launch of NOT TiGHT (2022), his debut material, DOMi & JD BECK returns with the announcement of his second studio album titled WHO ASKED?album that will be released on July 31, 2026 through the label APESHIT of Anderson .Paak in collaboration with Blue Note Records.

After the overwhelming success of their first album, which earned them two nominations for the GRAMMY, including Best New Artist, the jazz duo returns with a new release that will feature 15 songs. The project promises to show the sonic evolution that the French keyboardist Domi Louna and the American drummer JD Beck have developed since the publication of their first album.

Unlike NOT TiGHTa work that included collaborations with artists such as Thundercat, Mac DeMarco and Herbert Hancockin this new production DOMi & JD BECK They opt for a more intimate approach, but at the same time more complex in terms of instrumentation. On this occasion, the album will not include special guests, so it will be driven mainly by the voices of both musicians, accompanied by instrumentalists who will provide dynamism to each of the songs.

With WHO ASKED?the project confirms that they are one of the most outstanding proposals within instrumental music. Their combination of elements of jazz, hip hop and R&B has defined their own identity that continues to evolve, and this upcoming release is shaping up to be an ideal opportunity to discover the artistic growth they have experienced since their debut.
