Music news

The song is the second preview of Who Loves The Sun.

Chat Pile released a new preview of Who Loves The Suntheir next album, which will arrive on September 4, 2026 through The Flenser. “PEN IS MALL” It is the second single that the group shares after the release of “Deep Blue”the first glimpse that allowed us to know the sound that will mark this new production.

“PEN IS MALL” remains faithful to the essence of noise rock that distinguishes the project, in a track which addresses issues such as alienation, monotony and subordination within the work routine. Like their previous works, the group presents a social critique focused on the precariousness of work and the way in which the system limits economic development to favor a few, thus conditioning the lives of millions of people.

According to Stinbassist of the band, this new single is the heaviest song they Chat Pile has recorded to date, to the point that the vocalist himself ended up with a headache after the studio session. In addition, he explained that both the title and the story behind the launch refer to the time in which Raygun Busch He worked as a maintenance man at a shopping center in Oklahoma City.

The premiere was accompanied by a video directed by Richard Picturesin which Garrett Stanton Vandermarkmember of My Wife's An Angelplays a worker in charge of disposing of human bodies, while Matt Korvettevocalist of Pissed Jeansappears as another of the employees. The result is a clip that reinforces the message of the song and preserves the uncomfortable and dark aesthetic that distinguishes Chat Pile.
