The musician will show a different side to his work with Beach House.
Graham Hillknown for his work with Beach Housebegins his solo stage with “Monster In My Head”a single inspired by a personal experience that works as the first preview of Taking In Starstheir debut album. The material will arrive on January 22, 2027 and will show a different facet than the one presented with the group throughout the 10 songs that make it up.
According to Hill, “Monster In My Head” It emerged after a late-night conversation with his teenage son, who was having trouble sleeping due to a melody that was constantly playing in his head and that he couldn’t stop. Upon learning about this situation, the musician realized that it was similar to the moments in which he tends to overthink things, especially when facing unresolved issues or situations beyond his control.
Through the trackthe musician presents a sound close to southern folk rock, with which he explores a different perspective than that of Beach Housewhose proposal focuses on dream pop. With this piece, Hill shows the evolution of his work by taking personal experiences as a starting point to build his own narrative.
“Monster In My Head” It’s a glimpse of what will be Taking In Starsalbum co-produced by Hill along with Donald Markowitzwho has worked with Van Morrison and Dr.John.
