New appointment on Rai 5 with the “Rock Legends” series. This time the story told is that of Diana Ross and the Supremes.
The very famous musical trio made music history in just a few years with songs such as “Baby Love”, “Stop! In The Name Of Love” and “You Can’t Hurry Love”.
Diana Ross and The Supremes were the jewel of Motown and the first girl group to top the charts in the 1960s.
And Diana Ross? Gay icon, idol of Michael Jackson, leader and tyrant of the Supremes and perhaps also of Berry Gordy, founder of Motown: was she the most talented of the Supremes?
Maybe not, but it was certainly the most ambitious.
