beabadoobee begins a new stage with Pylonhis next studio material with 14 songs, which will be released on September 18, 2026 through Dirty Hit and Interscope Records. As a first preview, the artist shared the single “Sun Has Set”a song that reveals a more intense and direct facet of their sound.

With “Sun Has Set”, Beatrice Laus presents a theme that turns a melancholic farewell into a cry of rage, using the sun as a symbol in which he allows himself to release those emotions and feelings that he could never say up front. He track arrives accompanied by a video directed by Jake Erlandwhich exemplifies the different stages he goes through in the song, from anger to liberation.

After having presented This Is How Tomorrow Moves (2024), the Filipino-British artist will return with Pylonan album influenced by 90s alternative rock and grunge. Furthermore, the name of the album refers to the electrical towers that usually appear on the side of roads and cities, structures that became a recurring image for the singer during the long periods she spent on tour far from home, under a feeling of distance, uncertainty and search for connection.

The album featured collaborations with Hayley Williams of Paramore and Brendan Yates of Turnstile. Likewise, the project includes the participation of Evan Stephens Hall of Pinegrove, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Shane Moran of Title Fight and the production of Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975. Along with the release of the album, beabadoobee prepares to start The Powerlines Toura tour of arenas in Canada, the United States and Europe, whose dates will also feature the participation of wisp and Violet Grohl.
