Brandon Flowers announces new solo album and releases “Plans”

Exploring the country-western genre after two decades of experience with The Killers.

Brandon Flowersvocalist of The Killersannounced his new country-western style solo album titled THRASHER. The album, produced by Jonathan Rado and Shawn Everett in it RCA Studio A from Nashville, will be released on August 21 under Island Records.

The material features prominent musicians such as David Rawlings, Bruce Bouton and the legendary harmonica player Charlie McCoy. The first single, “Plans”is a classic American parable about big dreams that didn't come to pass. Dale play next:

Inspired by Walt Whitman and the music that his father listened to, the artist explores new facets after two decades of career, ensuring that this turn towards country complements his career without abandoning his roots in rock.

I'm not running away from rock and roll. I don't want to replace my old songs. “I simply found room for more,” said the singer.
