Claudio Baglioni returns this evening, 24 October 2026, to Piazza di Siena, in the heart of Villa Borghese, to inaugurate “WHAT NIGHT IS THIS! the departure”, a live residency of seven concerts which will continue on 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31 October and 1 November.

An appointment that intertwines the artist’s personal memory with a new live adventure, destined to continue in the summer of 2027.

The choice of date is not random. Exactly 44 years ago, on 24 October 1982, Baglioni brought together a crowd of around 250,000 people in Piazza di Siena for ALÉ-OÓ, an event that has remained in the history of large Italian musical gatherings. The return to the same place thus takes on the meaning of a comparison with a season in which the pop concert left theaters and sports halls to transform itself into a collective experience of unprecedented dimensions.

THE BAND AND THE LIST

For them seven Roman eveningsBaglioni will be accompanied by 20 musicians and will bring 40 songs to the stage, reinterpreted through arrangements designed for a show conceived as a large open-air theater.

The repertoire will span almost sixty years of career, bringing together the memory of an artistic journey with a new live production.

THE TOUR

WHAT A NIGHT THIS IS! the departure inaugurates the GRANDTOUR LaVitaÈAdesso, a project that in the summer of 2027 will cross Italy with 50 concerts in 80 days, reaching cities of art, archaeological sites, monumental places and landscapes of particular historical and environmental value. The journey will end again in Rome, on 23 October 2027, with WHAT NIGHT IS THIS! the return, to the Imperial Forums.
