On images with strong psychedelic accents, the two musicians invite you into their universe, with hypnotic drums and mysterious guitar lines, while George Harrison's son declaims his words, with soaring and inhabited vocal lines.
This is the opening track of the album. Dragonflieswhose release is announced on September 18. “This album was really thought of as a whole,” explains Nigel Godrich. “That was the idea from the start, and it’s gradually rolling out. »
This collaborative project was born from a period of change. Indeed, Dhani Harrison, nine years after his first solo album, returned to settle in the United Kingdom after living for 20 years in Los Angeles. A change of pace marked by a return to calm, parallel to the career of Nigel Godrich, who, at the same time, decided to ease up on touring and recording. The title “Slower” is therefore obvious.
