Music news

Last appointment, this evening, Tuesday 16 January, on Rai 2, with “The eyes of the musician”, with Enrico Ruggeri and Flora Canto retracing the career and personal history of the great singer-songwriters who made the history of Italian music: the evening will be dedicated to Toto Cutugno.

Guests in the studio are three big names on the Italian music scene, linked to Cutugno by great friendship: Fausto Leali, Gigliola Cinquetti, Paolo Vallesi who, with Enrico Ruggeri and Flora Canto, will touch on the salient moments of the artist’s life and will perform some songs linked to him.

There will also be a speech by the philosopher Matteo Saudino, aka BarbaSophia, who will tell the meaning of two key words linked to the story of the singer-songwriter, who passed away last August, at the age of eighty, after a long illness.

Tuesday 16 January at 11.45pm on Rai 2 and on Raiplay.it
