GREGORY PORTER in concert in Milan for Jazzmi (Info and Schedule)

Music news

Gregory Porter returns to Milan. The American singer, one of the most authoritative personalities of contemporary jazz, will be the protagonist on November 3, 2026 at Alcatraz, as part of JAZZMI, the festival that brings some of the most interesting voices on the international jazz scene to the city.

An event that brings one of the most recognizable sounds of the contemporary musical panorama back to the Milanese stage. Over time, Porter has built a personal language, capable of crossing jazz, soul, gospel and rhythm and blues, relying on a deep vocal style and a phrasing that retains a strong narrative imprint.

Winner of two Grammy Awards, with albums such as Liquid Spirit and Take Me to the Alley, he has managed to conquer a transversal audience without giving up the African-American tradition from which his music comes.

The Milanese date represents a new opportunity to listen live to an interpreter who has made vocal intensity and the relationship with the public the distinctive features of his artistic identity.
