Ashley Walters claims Manson sexually assaulted her in 2010, then whipped her and threw her against a wall.
A Los Angeles County judge on Wednesday granted a trial date to the woman who claims Marilyn Manson sexually assaulted her in his West Hollywood home studio in 2010, then subjected her to physical and psychological abuse while she worked as his assistant.
At a hearing, Judge Steve Cochran noted that the case had “took a winding path” after being filed for the first time in 2021, then classified and relaunched twice. He said he was willing to grant an expedited date if plaintiff Ashley Walters wanted one. When Walters’ attorney requested a date in November of next year, he quickly set the jury trial for Nov. 15, 2027. While that date may not seem expedited, it is relatively expedited for this county, where retrials are routinely set for mid-2028.
