This album marks the return of the band after five years of Hushed and Grim (2021) and is the first since the tragic death of its co-founder Brent Hinds last year in a motorcycle accident. In addition, he introduces his new lineup: along with the classic members Troy Sanders, Bill Kelliher and Brann Dailorthey add up Nick Johnston (guitar) and João Nogueira (keyboards).
Bill, Brann and I are thrilled to still have the opportunity to do this, and we have other members who are ecstatic to be in the band with us. It is a magical feeling that motivates us to continue rehearsing. It reminds us of the beginnings of the band, when we were all hungry for success, united and excited to work. And we are thrilled to have the opportunity to record this album,” Troy Sanders said in a press release.
