Soccer Mommy is back with “Rings Of Saturn”her first single since the release of Evergreen (2024) and the first in two years. This release, which arrives via Loma Vista Recordings / Concordrevolves around uncertainty and marks the beginning of a new stage for the project led by Sophie Allison.
“Rings Of Saturn” has the production of Elliott Kozelwho has collaborated with artists such as Rosalia, Björk, SZA, Slow Pulp and Indigo De Souza. Throughout the track, Sophie presents an intimate and melancholic song, faithful to the indie rock style that has characterized her since her beginnings and that, over time, she has maintained within her project.
According to Soccer Mommythe piece emerged in the middle of a complicated personal period and explores the feeling of being lost and looking for hope anywhere. The artist explains that, during that time, she used to go out to the patio with a telescope to observe the Moon and the planets, finding in that experience a way to take a little weight off what she was experiencing.
The launch is accompanied by a hypnotic atmosphere video created by Suji Park.
