THE HIVES return to Italy for a super concert in Bologna (Info and Tickets)

Music news

The Hives Day is the show that will see The Hives participate in the new edition of the Sequoie Music Park in Bologna accompanied by their long-time friends The Interrupters and Scowl!

The band released their new album in recent months Bogus Operandi.

As the album’s macabre title suggests, the band’s prolonged absence from the studio was not a hiatus, but almost a horror story.
The Hives now admit that they have not seen or spoken to their mysterious founder, mentor and songwriter, Randy Fitzsimmons – who has always shied away from the limelight – since the release of Lex Hives in 2012.

In their twenty-five year career, The Hives have sold out stadiums and shared stages with everyone from AC/DC to the Rolling Stones and have sold millions of albums around the world and earned countless gold records. In the post-Lex Hives period, the band released the singles I’m Alive and Good Samaritan and a live album via Third Man Records, as well as embarking on a series of global tours. The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons marks a real rebirth for the band.
